What We Do
Mestre Behavior Development provides Applied Behavior Analysis services to children affected by an Autism Spectrum Disorder and related diagnoses.

Our services are provided in the South Florida community, both in our early intervention clinic as well as in homes. We also offer social skills training groups, toilet training, parent training and additional services to support children with developmental or behavioral challenges.

ABA Therapy
It is estimated that 1 in 110 children is affected by an Autism Spectrum Disorder and 1 in 4 of those are boys. ABA therapy is the only therapy with over 30 years of research proving its effectiveness with children diagnosed with Autism.

Therapists at Mestre Behavior Development implement ABA programs, focusing on skill acquisition and the reduction of problem behavior. We emphasize verbal behavior in our skill acquisition programs to teach language and functional communication, self-help skills, social skills, play skills, and compliance behavior.

Insurance Coverage
Mestre Behavior Development is an “in-network” provider of ABA services for Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, Cigna and United Behavioral Health. We also accept AvMed through the University of Miami Behavioral Health (UMBH).
